ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship will be granted up to a maximum value of £5,000 (approximately 1,900,000 Nigerian Naira) which must be used towards tuition fees.
This particular scholarship is for Nigerian students who are overseas fee paying students that have been admitted to study at the University towards a Masters course.
FIELDS OF STUDY COVERED
Masters degree courses.
Please ensure that you meet these minimum entry criteria before applying:
Completed an undergraduate degree at a recognised institution in Nigeria
Satisfy the academic requirement criteria for selected chosen course
Accepted an offer to study full time towards a Masters degree course at the University starting in September 2018, excluding these courses: Common Professional Examination/ Law Graduate Diploma/ Graduate Entry LLB/ LLM in Corruption, Law and Governance/ Economics Graduate Diploma/ Social Work Masters degrees/ Social Work after qualifying Masters degrees/ Postgraduate diplomas/ MA degrees in IDS (aside from the MA Gender)/ PGCE courses and schools direct teaching courses/ Pre-Masters degrees and diplomas (where validated by Sussex and taught at partner colleges)
Have met the conditions of your offer (if you have received a conditional offer)
Able to fund the rest of your tuition costs and any other study costs
Do not hold any other University of Sussex funded scholarships.
HOW TO APPLY
Firstly, you will have to apply online for admission in order to be eligible to enter the Masters course programme:
The University will offer placement for students who are eligible to apply for the scholarship, you must then be required to register that you are interested. Notice of an offer will be emailed to you, you must then submit a declaration before the application closing date.
Please note that Scholarship details will be part of your CAS (which is for your visa), therefore you should register that you are interested in the scholarship prior to receiving your CAS via the Admissions Office.
